The wonderful – and famous – arrangement of America the Beautiful by Carmen Dragon is published in a variety of forms by the Sam Fox Publishing Company. With its 2001 release by Triplo Press, this transcription for 12 trumpets of that arrangement was seen in public for the first time and proudly continues to be offered free of charge to all who cherish the aspirations of freedom as exemplified by the United States of America. It has been used to telling effect in several public forums, including the Day of Prayer gathering of over 5000 people at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio on Friday, September 14, 2001, where the response to the work was an immediate and emotional standing ovation with extended applause.
